You will need a heat proof dish.
Pile up the Sandalwood into a small sandcastle shape and light the top of it. Alternately you could like put a row on a heat proof dish and light one end.
Please do not blow it out as it creates its own little oven from which it will release the scent. Also If you blow on powder it will fly everywhere.
Can also be placed in a charcoal free resin burner.
